Head guide Jared Arnold fished the Yellowstone River today and reported good numbers of rising fish on the water. The temp of the water has been heating up a bit so the chances of seeing consistent fish on top is not good. Nymphs and streamers are proving successful as well as Jared’s favorite pattern the “rubberleg”. He did snap this pic of a guide floating down with two terrible anglers dropping bombs in front and behind the boat. Notice the head protection on this guy,not sure if this is in the Montana Fishing Regulations Manual.
